Here we have a few pictures of a customer built STR which passed its UK IVA test yesterday.
The car is customer built from a 2015 Lister Bell kit and becomes the first STR to be submitted privately.
The only issue on the test was a faulty airflow meter which lead to a high (lean) lambda reading. Once the AFM was replaced the car passed without issue.
The car is fitted with a 3.0 litre V6 from a phase 3 Alfa 166 and becomes the first LB to pass the IVA using this generation of OE Bosch ECU which has previously been avoided by other replica builders.
The car now needs to be registered and will hopefully be seen at some events in the near future.
Our congratulations to the owner on his success.
