This is an old Litton/CAE Corse S Stratos replica that came to us recently for a conversion from 4 to 5 stud drive flanges & for an upgrade to coffin spoke type wheels. As part of the conversion we took the opportunity to upgrade the front brake discs to a larger diameter item which also utilises a custom anodised alloy disc bell.
The new front wheels are 8 x 16" fitted with 205/45/16 tyres, the new rear wheels are 10 x 17" fitted with 255/40/17 tyres.
I first saw this chassis back in 1997 at the CAE workshops as an unfinished kit. It was then sold on to a dedicated individual who stripped the chassis back to basics, replaced the roll cage & then went on to build it into a completed car & get it through the UK SVA test. The car I think originally ran with a Lancia 4 cylinder twin cam engine before being converted to a 3.0 Alfa 12v V6. The car later had a home built supercharger conversion fitted and has featured on the front cover & in the April 2009 edition of PPC magazine.
Here are some before and after pic's...
